In order to do this they screen kids carefully, both via an initial consultation session as well as through a comprehensive parent evaluation form.

What a pleasure to redesign the site of the Los Altos Chamber of Commerce, giving them a fresh new look using their new logo; adding a flash animation on the home page; linking up their virtual tour of community locations; adding a search function on their business directory page. Ongoing maintenance involves keeping their community calendar current and member directory up to the minute.

Presbyterian Early Learning Center, in Sunnyvale, California, is a child care center devoted to the education and nurturing of young children. PELC offers full-time preschool with extended care; part-time preschool for 3's and 4's; Kindergarten; and Mother's Day Out (MDO) for children 5 months to 4 years old. Their website features their daily schedule for each age group, parenting tips, a photo album, and forms for parents/guardians to download easily from the site.

SMALL WORLD BOOKS is a non-profit organization, founded in 2003, dedicated to promoting literacy and enhancing educational opportunities in Playa del Carmen, Mexico and the Riviera Maya.

In March of 2004, “Libréria MUNDO” opened its doors, making affordable reading and educational materials available locally in Playa del Carmen. In efforts to support local education, Libréria MUNDO teamed up with SMALL WORLD BOOKS to create the program VISION 20/20. Through the donation and sales of used books, VISION 20/20 generates funds to support local students through scholarships and textbook subsidies.

We folded this site which highlights the services of a literacy center and library in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, into the fundraising site above.
